No more flying around and changing angles consistently. Your player is sluggish on turns, now, once again, as they should be. Sprinting is incredibly useful if you do it right, but there are now far more times when you shouldn't be doing so. It REWARDS good play and PUNISHES poor play. The new physics engine might be my favorite new thing in the game. One more thing I noticed is that a regular Y ball on the edge of the box actually works now, as opposed to it 95% of the time being overhit right to the keeper on 16, which was seemingly a balancing decision to eliminate that from the game. I think wingers are going to be awesome this year because of that. Now, you can actually put the ball ahead of them and let them run. When you saw a player on your team advancing into a huge gap of space, you just had to hope that the Y ball would play him into the space instead of hitting him on the foot while leading him forward. The big difference for me has been the driven through pass. Regular passes are incredibly accurate like they should be. Passing is obviously the star of the show.
